Every Collection

The archive arranged as a living instrument: each collection a signal, each doorway tuned to a different kind of record. Every destination in the Archive is listed here.

Counts are records held by each destination. Where a collection holds reference works as well as case files — books and papers the cases are argued from — the card reports its case files and names the rest separately.

"The archive does not ask you to believe. It asks only that you look — and that, having looked, you keep an honest record of what refused to be explained."
